Can a TV be too big for a small room?
Yes. If the optimal distance is farther than your couch, the TV is oversized for the space. For small rooms, 43–55 inches is usually enough.

Gamers tend to sit near the minimum distance for fast reactions and detail. For movies, the optimal (THX) distance is more comfortable.
